I was thinking about doing this exact thing. I have been wanting to make my hood with a clean simple vent like SpeedyZXs, but after seeing the rest of my car slowly come together, the smooth lines of the stock hood really looks good and ties things together. Anyways...I thought about doing what you are talking about thinking that it would vent out hot air AND would still look totally stock which would be great. I then talked to Nixit online about it and he said that "some cars" not exactly the Z32 specifically, but atleast some cars have #1 melted cowl grills doing that, and #2 broken windshields from the exesive heat going on them over and over from doing that. Just something for you to think about.
